Rain-forest Habitat
Rain-forests are forests characterized by high rainfall, with annual rainfall in the case of tropical rain-forests between 250 and 450 centimetres (98 and 177 in), and definitions varying by region for temperate rain-forests. The ground level is called the forest floor. Snakes, Tapirs, Jaguars, Tamanduas, and Gorillas. Millions of insects, snakes, bees, beetles, frogs, monkeys and a lot more.
Woodland & Tundra Habitat
Woodland is a low-density forest forming open habitats with plenty of sunlight and limited shade. Woodlands may support an understory of shrubs and herbaceous plants including grasses. Woodland may form a transition to shrubland under drier conditions or during early stages of primary or secondary succession. Higher density areas of trees with a largely closed canopy that provides extensive and nearly continuous shade are referred to as forests.
Tundra is a type of biome where the tree growth is hindered by low temperature. In tundra, the vegetation is composed of dwarf shrubs, sedges and grasses, mosses, and lichens. Scattered trees grow in some tundra regions. The ecotone (or ecological boundary region) between the tundra and the forest is known as the tree line or timberline.

This St Patty’s Day Jello Parfaits recipe is the ultimate in easy dessert recipes! With only two ingredients, these fun and festive jello parfaits are hard to resist. Live Love Texas
- 1 3-oz pkg. lime Jello
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- Prepare jello according to package directions.
- Pour remaining jello into 5 wine glasses. (Hint: wine glasses with stems prop up more easily.)
- Chill glasses at an angle until jello is set. (At least 3 hours to overnight.)
- Fold whipped topping into remaining (1/3 cup) jello.
- Spoon topping mixture into prepared glasses and top with more whipped topping.
- Chill and serve! You can always add a few sprinkles for more festive flair!
