White Chocolate Dipped Cherries

White Chocolate Dipped Cherries

How beautiful are these white chocolate dipped cherries! The red and white color combination really gives it a festive look that will be great for Christmas parties. I also love the idea of adding the silver sugar pearl ornaments, which make the cherries look sparkling. They are quick and easy to make. CountryLiving

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces weight White Chocolate Chips Or Chunks
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable Oil (if Needed)
  • 1/2 pound Fresh Cherries With Stem On, Washed And Completely Dry (pat Dry With A Paper Towel If Need Be)
  • Edible Glitter Optional For Garnish

Instructions

  • 1. Into a medium sized, microwave safe glass bowl pour the chocolate chips.
    2. Place bowl in the microwave for about two minutes stirring every every 30 seconds. Add oil accordingly if it appears too thick or clumpy.
    3. Dip each cherry one at a time from the stem, dipping quickly to coat while the mixture is still very warm. Let excess chocolate drip off and rest the cherries on a wax paper or parchment paper lined baking tray to set and cool.
    4. Lightly sprinkle the edible glitter onto the bottom of the cherries.
    5. Let them set up and cool in the refrigerator.
